An opportunity to paint on location in
some of the most beautiful and inspirational settings in the world.

Florence . . . Castiglione del Lago. . . plus Rome option

While in Italy, participants will be encouraged to immerse themselves in
Italian art, culture, and everyday life.

Our journey will begin in Florence, where students will be encouraged to
set their own pace and follow their own travel agendas.

 

Next, in Castiglione del Lago, students will have their evenings free
to soak up the beauty of Umbrian life.

Artist Cara Deane Phillips will lead the group in translating that
beauty into paint, through instruction and demonstration.

Ms. Phillips will teach painting techniques to the group and will
work individually with each student while they paint on location.

 

In the late afternoon, the group will meet for
group critique, allowing students to share their insights and perspectives.

Departing out of Rome, students who have planned to stay
will follow their own travel agendas.
